I am having my GRE on 8th...almost completed 60% of my barron's wordlist...but i haven't started with quants yet, though i scored around 710-740 in cambridge...plz suggest me how to proceed for quants, and i haven't done any essay even, so give me suggestions for that too...

for essay- try some real topics of GRE and discuss it with some teacher of yours for analysis
- do quantitative (for formulas and some tips specially geometry)

I am khushi ahuja ...I am planning to give gre in cmn november and i am targetting specific universities of newyork ....my weakest area is quan as i m not in touch wid maths from 5 yrs ...which book shd i refer ...nd could you suggest any book for maths which has sufficient material for practice..

in your case I ll strongly recommend you Princeton Review.
Shoot for it.

I guess you must know that you have to make a strong bridge b/w two words for it.
Particularly there are 24 kinds of relationships which cover 95% of analogies.
- Dont make your bridge too strong or too specific to given words as you will find no ans then.
I ll drop a detailed version of this technique [24 relationships] ASAP.

In quant i always get stuck on questions with square root...
say which one is greater
(x^4 + 6x^2 + 9)^1/2 or x^2 + 3
Acc to me answer should be D i.e we cant tell.. Cos it can be positive as well as negative.. but everywhere answer is C i.e they're equal..

Start practicing verbal now
as u are done with 24 list so must be getting atleast 500+ if not then there is problem in ur techniques
secondly, keep making vocub but dont drop out Quan from ur study plan.
Spend 6-8 hours daily as u r free to get 1450+ score.

Kaplan verbal workbook is available in materials that I have uploaded.
let me look into maths as well... but its better if u purchase one as it is maths so ebook is of no use.

US universities demand that ur GRE score must be reached to them by 15th Dec.
Secondly, when you give GRE they ask you to submit your score to few skools which get ur GRE transcrip in 4-5 days from ur test date.

hey bro u can apply before ur gre test date even ...u can send all the required documents like transcript,sop,lor,etc and ya pay the application fees online and as soon as u gt over with ur gre just mail them your score ...at the time of application u will be asked ur gre & toefl score u can just simply mention ur test date ....

bro score card will reach ur doorstep arnd 30-40 days ...u can request ets to send score card later after ur test....it takes 20$ for each university...and usually it takes 7 business days for score card to reach the destination ....
its better u select the university on ur test day...bt if ur skeptical abt ur gre score u can send it after the test...

funding has ntn to do with ur gre test in december ,nd i must tell u gre score is nt the only thing on whch u get funding or ny kind of aid...nowdays most of the universities looks into academics nd projects whch u have undertaken ....and moreover funding depends upon the department in whch ur going...
