i am preparing fr gre and will be giving tentatively oct last week or nov 1st week , i am trying fr a phD in the US since i have already completed my Masters in the uk . I will be giving the Gre in the uk , I have done the quantitative section from Barrons and just on about 30% of word list . would you please suggest me how to go about further thnx

i am planning to apply for MS(Fall 2009 session)and have booked the GRE xam date for 10 Oct.I have been preparing for the xam for past 1 month or so and have already completed almost all the worlist from Barron and have startd giving CBT side by side in which i am getting 400-600 in verbal and 600+ in quant(score low bcoz of blunders).I am not happy with my score and might be rescheduling my GRE date. I want to know that what sholud be the safest gap between the xam date nd 15 dec(assuming deadline for applying)so that i can reschedule my date accordingly and PLZ help me abt what technique sholud i follow during this period to increase my score levels.

First of all.. I wish u to thank u for the work ur have been doing so far.
Would be plz advice me on few of my queries.
1. i m about to finish barrons words list have 6 more lists left. but i feel like not remembering them.
2.I find analogies to be difficult.. how to work on it..?
3. Math i keep working on it in weeks ends.. do some careless mistakes and them i m rectifying them.
3. My exam is on OCT 17. how should i go on to prepare from now on.?
hi there buddy...........hey i doing mechanical engineering right now...i am planning to give GRE next year and i will start my preparation after finals next year after may....so please help me out.....i am gud at maths..but suggest me how to start with the english part....every subsection of it..........i have got BARRON`s .........what else do i need ...also tell me which book to do and when to do and how to remember the words?????????????plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
Hey mates!! This s Ajay...Am goanna take my First GRE test @ Oct-31 this yr.. If am nt happy with ma score, wil b writing again @ March-2009... I'm lookin forward a decent score of 1350+... Is it enough 2 Gt a mediocre univ in USA?? And Nw IT bogged down is it preferable to do MS in US.. We all Knw US s best fr doin MS.. But is thr any othr countries whr MS cn b done?? Give ur Suggestions mate!!!! Hw abt Canada or UK???

hi.....i am not able to download any of you software....as i click the lik of download file....it opens another page where it tells to click a certain link....when i click the link another tab opens on mozilla....aur us par uncomprehensice characters display hote hain

thr r some problems while downloading use internet explorer while downloading i found problems when i ws using Firefox..may b it solves ur propose
hi!!i had given my GRE today and got a disastrous score 1100....i got 350 in verbal!i am perfect with wordlists but the only problem is with analogies and RC's!!i'm planning to give again in december....and plz suggest me something really powerful for RC's i need it badly and also analogies...plz try to reply quickly!

hey anybody who can help interpret my score..i took the diagnostic test...score real bad in it..700..but the website says that is it low scoring..that wud not b the same score in the real GRE...can anybody tell me regardin this..?

thr is no perfect diagnostic test made till date tht tests ur ability accurately...
dnt worry u can make that score to 1400+ with ur prep..dnt get bogged dwn with this test... i hav seen ppl getin 500-600 score on thr diagnostic test and end up gettin 1400+ on test day

but my test is scheduled juz the day after tmrw..i am not interested in scoring high..wanna score 1100..i was confident enough before..but this 700 has made my confidence low
